Volleyball Recap: Shawnee Comes Up Short

Shawnee lost against Madison Plains back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Braves lost 3-0 to the Golden Eagles.

Shawnee was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-23, 25-17.

Shawnee's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Madison Plains, their win was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shawnee will challenge London at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Madison Plains, they will face off against Catholic Central at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Golden Eagles are facing the Irish at the right time seeing as the Irish are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
