Centauri and Resurrection Christian squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Centauri had to settle for second. They took a hard 49-31 fall against the Resurrection Christian Cougars. The Falcons' loss signaled the end of their undefeated season.

Resurrection Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Graham Riggs led the charge by dropping a double-double with 17 points and 16 boards. Riggs has been hot, having posted eight or more rebounds the last seven times he's played. Cade Crutcher was another key player, going 5-for-9 on his way to 12 points.

Having lost for the first time this season, Centauri fell to 26-1. As for Resurrection Christian, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 27-0.

Centauri didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 71-54 defeat against Windsor Charter Academy on the 15th. As for Resurrection Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 55-42 win against Strasburg on the 15th.
