Softball Recap: Pickens Dragons vs. Dawson County Tigers
Pickens won the last time they faced Dawson County, and things went their way on Thursday too. The Pickens Dragons had just enough and edged the Dawson County Tigers out 4-3.
Pickens pushed their record up to 12-3 with that victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Dawson County, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-8.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pickens will host Greater Atlanta Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Dawson County, they will play host again on Saturday to welcome Gilmer, where first pitch is scheduled at 10:00 a.m. Dawson County is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.6 runs per game this season.
