Volleyball Recap: Ellie Carolus and Ceci Gregory Secure Win for Soroco + How To Watch

Soroco entered their tilt with De Beque on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Dragons. The Rams were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Dragons, so the Rams were just returning the favor.

Soroco was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-17, 25-19.

Soroco was led to victory by Ceci Gregory and Ellie Carolus. Gregory had 11 digs and three aces, while Carolus had 13 digs and one assist. That's the most aces Gregory has posted since back in September.

They weren't the only good servers: Soroco was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces in four consecutive matchups.

Soroco's record is now 10-7. As for De Beque, their loss was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-18.

Soroco didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Basalt on the 25th. De Beque has also already played their next match (against Hayden), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
