Softball Recap: Jefferson-Morgan Gets the Win

Jefferson-Morgan won against Frazier last Tuesday with six runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. The Rockets walked away with a 6-2 victory over the McGuffey Highlanders. For the Rockets, this counts as revenge for the 4-2 win the Highlanders walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2022.

Jefferson-Morgan has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 6 runs this season. As for McGuffey, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Jefferson-Morgan wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 7-3 loss against Waynesburg Central on the 31st. As for McGuffey, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 12-1 win against South Side on the 31st.
