Baseball Recap: Lithia Springs Takes a Loss

Lithia Springs's last matchup with New Manchester could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Saturday. The Lions lost 16-1 to the Jaguar. The Lions just can't catch a break and have now endured 15 losses in a row.

Lithia Springs saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaden Cooper, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases, one triple, and one run. That triple marked the first that Cooper has hit this season.

Lithia Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 3-16. As for New Manchester, their win ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-16.

As of now, neither Lithia Springs nor the Jaguar have any future games scheduled.
