Legend is 8-2 against Ponderosa since October of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Legend has four straight victories, Ponderosa has ten straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Legend is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Colorado's top teams: Rock Canyon, who was ranked fifth at the time (Legend was ranked second). The Titans came out on top against the Jaguars by a score of 3-1 last Thursday.

The win didn't come easy: Rock Canyon scored at least 19 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 13-25, 25-20, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Ponderosa lost 3-0 to Mountain Vista last Thursday.

Ponderosa's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Legend, their victory bumped their record up to 14-2.

Everything went Legend's way against Ponderosa in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as Legend made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Titans since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
