Mineral Point came tearing into Tuesday's match with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Cuba City Cubans by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 back in September.

While Mineral Point won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-23.

Maddy Kabat paced Mineral Point's offense, picking up ten kills. Kabat were helped by Sadie Miller and Sophie Miller, who contributed nine assists each. Kabat was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Mineral Point's win bumped their record up to 33-4. As for Cuba City, the loss snapped their winning streak at five matches and leaves them with a 23-13 record.

Mineral Point has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Riverdale on the 16th. As for Cuba City, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Boscobel on the 16th.
