Recap: Noxubee County Tigers vs. McLaurin Tigers
The Noxubee County Tigers posted their closest victory yet this season on Friday. They had just enough and edged McLaurin out 50-47.
When it comes to explaining why McLaurin lost, one person who can't be blamed is Michael Wallace. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 30 points and 11 rebounds. Wallace has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last 11 times he's played.
Noxubee County's victory bumped their record up to 6-8. As for McLaurin, their loss dropped their record down to 13-9.
Noxubee County will be playing in front of their home fans against Southeast Lauderdale at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for McLaurin, they will head out on the road to face off against Enterprise at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Enterprise is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home.
