Volleyball Recap: Frederick Golden Eagles vs. Berthoud Spartans
After flying high against Riverdale Ridge on Tuesday, Frederick came back down to earth. The Golden Eagles fell 3-1 to the Berthoud Spartans on Thursday. The Golden Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Spartans apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 19-25, 25-15, 25-19.
Ava Reed paced Frederick's offense, picking up 14 kills. Reed got some help from Marisol Tembrock and her 18 assists. Isabelle Ramer controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.
