Basketball Recap: McCluer Comes Up Short

McCluer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 45-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Charles West Warriors. The Comets were probably out for revenge after losing 59-48 to them when the teams met back in March of 2016, then they'll just have to keep looking.

McCluer's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for St. Charles West, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Ritenour the next time they take the court. St. Charles West will host Ritenour at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, while McCluer will host them on Friday.
