Soccer Recap: Broughton Finishes Even with Apex

On Wednesday, the Broughton Capitals and the Apex Cougars finished up their game with a 2-2 draw. Both teams had to tread carefully at times as the refs weren't afraid to hand out yellow cards: Elena Berra was handed one for the Capitals, while the Cougars got theirs courtesy of Abigail Lowe.

Berra and Claire Williams scored both of Broughton's goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

With that draw, Broughton's record moves to 3-2-3. As for Apex, they moved theirs to 3-1-2.
