After flying high against Conrad on Saturday, Glasgow/Hinsdale/Nashua came back down to earth. The Scotties fell just short of the Columbus Cougars by a score of 10-9 on Saturday. The Scotties' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Tessa Miller was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. CharLee McColly was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Glasgow/Hinsdale/Nashua's loss dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Columbus, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

When Glasgow/Hinsdale/Nashua and Columbus next hit the field, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. The Scotties will try to stop Havre's three-game winning streak when they meet at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Columbus will take on Shepherd and their 11-game winning streak at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
