Basketball Game Preview: Pratt Greenbacks vs. Trinity Celtics

The Pratt Greenbacks are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will square off against the Trinity Celtics on Monday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Pratt is leaving town to face Trinity after disappointing their home crowd in their season opener. The Greenbacks were beaten by Larned 60-29 on Thursday. The Greenbacks were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-13.

Meanwhile, Trinity was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against Haven, falling 69-14.

Pratt took their victory against Trinity in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 by a conclusive 58-33 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Greenbacks since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
