Volleyball Recap: South Sevier Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact South Sevier can now relate to. They fell just short of the Duchesne Eagles by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in August.

This is the second loss in a row for South Sevier and nudges their season record down to 15-14. As for Duchesne, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-9 record this season.

South Sevier does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Duchesne, they have already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Millard on the 25th.
