Volleyball Recap: South Sevier Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact South Sevier can now relate to. They fell just short of the Duchesne Eagles by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in August.

When it comes to explaining why South Sevier lost, don't look at Alyson Moore. Despite the final result, she had five digs and four aces.

South Sevier's loss dropped their record down to 15-14. As for Duchesne, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-9 record this season.

South Sevier does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Duchesne, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Millard on the 25th.
