Soccer Recap: Cairo Comes Up Short

After flying high against Dougherty last Thursday, Cairo came back down to earth. The Syrupmakers came up short against the LaGrange Grangers on Saturday, falling 10-0. If Cairo were looking for revenge after losing 6-0 to LaGrange when the teams met back in May of 2017, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Cairo's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for LaGrange, their record now sits at 5-11.

Looking ahead, Cairo will head out on the road to square off against Monroe at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for LaGrange, they will be playing in front of their home fans against East Coweta at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
