Soccer Recap: Garland Comes Up Short

After flying high against Naaman Forest on Friday, Garland came back down to earth. The Owls fell just short of the Rowlett Eagles by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. Garland were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Rowlett apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2025.

Garland's loss dropped their record down to 3-13-3. As for Rowlett, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-12-1.

Coincidentally, Garland and Rowlett will both be playing Wylie the next time they take the pitch. The Eagles will host the Pirates at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Owls will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
