Howland is on a three-game streak of home losses, McKinley a three-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Wednesday. The two teams will face off at 7:15 p.m. without much rest having both just played. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

It was a proper cat-fight when Howland challenged Canfield on Tuesday. Howland took a hard 56-37 fall against Canfield. The game marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Meanwhile, McKinley came up short against Poland Seminary on Tuesday and fell 58-49.

McKinley's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Howland, they now have a losing record at 7-8.

Everything came up roses for Howland against McKinley in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, as the team secured a 72-38 win. In that contest, Howland amassed a halftime lead of 37-15, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Wednesday.
