Softball Recap: MAST Community Charter Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

MAST Community Charter entered their tilt with Chichester on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 5-4 W against the Eagles.

Rylie Fitzsimmons spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and two unearned) runs on nine hits and racked up 13 Ks. Those 13 strikeouts set a new season-high mark for her.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Jordan Jennings, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run.

MAST Community Charter's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Chichester, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as MAST Community Charter Panthers challenge Faith Christian Academy Lions at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Chichester, they will welcome Phoenixville at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
