Ephrata is a perfect 10-0 against Prosser since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Tigers will take on the Mustangs at 11:00 a.m.

Ephrata had taken East Valley down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Tuesday. The Tigers lost 10-3 to the Red Devils. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Prosser came into Tuesday's game having lost seven straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 6-2 win over Grandview on Tuesday. The game was the first time the Mustangs have beaten the Greyhounds on their field since April 24, 2021.

Branden Clarke was excellent, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-4. Those two hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Aaron Gonzalez, who scored a run and stole two bases.

Prosser's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-7 and their overall record up to 3-8. As for Ephrata, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-9.

Ephrata came out on top in a nail-biter against Prosser in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, sneaking past 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
