Logan hasn't had much luck against Lancaster recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Chieftains will head out to challenge the Golden Gales at 5:15 p.m. Logan is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.8 runs per game this season.
Having struggled with five losses in a row, Logan turned things around against Reynoldsburg on Monday. They blew past the Raiders 19-1. The high-scoring effort was just what the Chieftains needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

The team relied heavily on Alyssa Hill, who fired off two home runs, five RBI, and three runs while going 3-for-4. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. Layla Everett was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base.
Meanwhile, Lancaster posted their closest victory since May 28, 2025 on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out Bloom-Carroll 7-6.
Kendall Brown 2026 MU and Alieya Garner 2027 did most of the damage at the plate: Brown 2026 MU fired off two home runs and one double while going 3-for-3, while Garner 2027 fired off two home runs and three RBI while going 2-for-3. Hannah Smith 2026 also deserves some recognition as she launched her first home run of the season.
Lancaster was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .310 or higher in 11 consecutive matchups.
Logan now has a winning record of 12-11. As for Lancaster, their record now sits at 13-7.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Wednesday. Logan hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.7 home runs per game. However, it's not like Lancaster struggles in that department as they've been averaging 1.4 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
Logan might still be hurting after the 12-2 defeat they got from Lancaster in their previous matchup two weeks ago. Can the Chieftains avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
