It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Millennium can now relate to. They lost 9-0 to the Casteel Colts on Tuesday. The Tigers' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Millennium's defeat dropped their record down to 21-9. As for Casteel, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 20-8.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Millennium will square off against Desert Vista on Thursday. The Thunder's pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the Tigers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Casteel, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mountain View on Saturday. The Toros will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Colts surely won't give up without a fight.
