Volleyball Recap: Baldwin Park Wins Going Away Against Mountain View

Baldwin Park not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since August 16, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They blew past the Mountain View Vikings 3-0. The Braves were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Vikings, so the Braves were just returning the favor.

Baldwin Park never let Mountain View on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-22, 25-16.

Edlynn Flores paced Baldwin Park's offense, picking up six kills. Flores got some help from Mya Martinez and her 17 assists. Karen Moreno controlled things from the service line, finishing with eight aces.

Baldwin Park is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. As for Mountain View, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Looking ahead, Baldwin Park will venture away from home to challenge Ontario at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mountain View, they will welcome Workman at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
