Basketball Game Preview: Foxcroft Academy Ponies vs. Old Town Coyotes

Foxcroft Academy is 1-9 against Old Town since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Foxcroft Academy Ponies are taking a road trip to square off against the Old Town Coyotes at 7:00 p.m.

On Monday, Foxcroft Academy ended up a good deal behind Ellsworth and lost 43-27.

Meanwhile, Old Town waltzed into their matchup on Monday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They strolled past the Crusaders with points to spare, taking the game 46-28.

Old Town is also on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. As for Foxcroft Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-9.

Foxcroft Academy came out on top in a nail-biter against Old Town in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, sneaking past 36-34. The rematch might be a little tougher for Foxcroft Academy since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
