Sapulpa waltzed into their contest on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They blew past the Putnam City North Panthers 40-14. This was payback for the Chieftains, who suffered a 7-3 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Sapulpa's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Putnam City North, they dropped their record down to 2-6 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Sapulpa is set to face off against their familiar foe Muskogee at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Putnam City North will challenge rival Charles Page at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
