Elsinore has won three straight games at home, while Cornerstone Christian has won three straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Saturday. The Tigers will welcome the Crusaders at 10:00 a.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Elsinore 3.4, Cornerstone Christian 1.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Elsinore came out on top against Tahquitz on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run fifth inning. The Tigers took their game against the Titans 6-2. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Titans recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Brayden Stankus spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on five hits and racked up 11 Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Ivan Huerta, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024. Jacob Farias was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Meanwhile, Cornerstone Christian made easy work of Crossroads Christian on Friday and carried off a 17-1 victory. Considering the Crusaders have won 17 matchups by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Steel Hoham was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Alec O'Sullivan, who got on base in four of his six plate appearances with three RBI and two runs.
Cornerstone Christian is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Elsinore, their victory bumped their record up to 15-6.
