Soccer Recap: Valley Forge Takes a Loss

Valley Forge lost against Cleveland Heights back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Patriots lost 5-2 to the Tigers.

Claire Farson and Bella Dempsey scored both of Valley Forge's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Valley Forge's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Cleveland Heights, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3-1.

Coming up, Valley Forge will host Buckeye at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Buckeye will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Valley Forge surely won't give up without a fight. As for Cleveland Heights, they will head out on the road to square off against Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Cleveland Heights' defense better be ready for this one: Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin have averaged an impressive 3.6 goals per game this season.
