Volleyball Recap: Hammond Morton Falls to Andrean in First Game of Season

Hammond Morton had to start their season on the road on Monday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost 3-0 to the Andrean Fighting 59ers. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it 14 in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-14, 25-7.

The win keeps Andrean at an undefeated 6-0.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Hammond Morton is set to square off against their familiar foe Hammond Central at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The match will give the Governors their first taste of in-conference action this season. Meanwhile, Andrean will take on rival Hammond Bishop Noll at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
