Softball Recap: Belmont Gets the Win

Belmont is still undefeated this season after their game against Potosi/Cassville on Monday, but Potosi/Cassville came as close as anyone has to beating them. The Braves sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-6 victory over Potosi/Cassville. That's two games straight that the Braves have won by exactly two runs.

Belmont's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Potosi/Cassville, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

Belmont wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Highland on the 15th. As for Potosi/Cassville, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-2 defeat against River Ridge on the 15th.
