Basketball Game Preview: Northview Wildcats vs. Wyoming Wolves

The Northview Wildcats will head out to face off against the Wyoming Wolves at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Northview will be strutting in after a victory while Wyoming will be coming in after a loss.

While Northview didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They claimed a resounding 57-16 win over Union. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Wyoming entered their matchup against South Christian on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Wyoming received a blow as they fell 58-44 to South Christian. The loss put an end to the Wolves' undefeated start to the season.

Northview's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Wyoming, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-1.

Northview couldn't quite finish off Wyoming in their previous matchup back in December of 2021 and fell 45-42. Can Northview avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
