On Thursday Shawsheen Valley Tech's undefeated season almost came to an end. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Dracut Middies. Those two runs were actually the fewest the Rams have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Shawsheen Valley Tech pushed their record up to 8-0-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.4 runs over those games. As for Dracut, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shawsheen Valley Tech will face off against Wilmington at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Dracut, they will square off against Billerica Memorial at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
