Bryan lost to Lincoln Northeast back in April of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Bears' defense stepped up to hand the Rockets a 1-0 shutout. Bryan wouldn't have won without Eddie Ramirez, who scored the game-winner.

The victory made it two in a row for Bryan and bumps their season record up to 8-5. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two matchups. As for Lincoln Northeast, they now have a losing record of 6-7.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Bryan is set to take on their familiar foe Omaha Westside at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The contest will give Bryan their first taste of in-conference action this season. Meanwhile, Lincoln Northeast will face off against rival Lincoln High at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
