Recap: Juanita Ravens vs. Silas Rams
The Juanita Ravens won the last time they faced the Silas Rams, and things went their way on Thursday too. Juanita walked away with a 51-39 victory over Silas. The win made it back-to-back wins for Juanita.
Despite the loss, Silas had strong showings from Annique Smith, who scored 15 points along with nine rebounds and five assists, and Tyonna Mosley, who scored six points along with nine rebounds and three steals. The game was Smith's tenth in a row with at least ten points.
Juanita's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Silas, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Juanita is on the road again on Wednesday and play against Hazen at 7:15 p.m. on January 3rd. Hopefully Hazen focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 on Wednesday. Silas and Spanaway Lake will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 3rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
