North Sanpete and Delta are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2019, but likely not for long. The Hawks will head out on the road to square off against the Rabbits at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. North Sanpete is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

It was a Battle of the Birds when North Sanpete faced off against Canyon View on Friday. The Hawks came up short against the Falcons, falling 10-4.

North Sanpete got a good showing from Christian Giacomazza, who tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Giacomazza has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk in seven consecutive appearances.

At the plate, North Sanpete saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyson Guidos, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 13 runs the game before, Delta was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They lost 12-2 to Manti. The Rabbits haven't had much luck with the Templars recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

North Sanpete's loss dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Delta, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-11.

North Sanpete couldn't quite get it done against Delta in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 as they fell 11-7. Can the Hawks avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
