Justin-Siena lost against Cardinal Newman back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Braves came up short against the Cardinals, falling 3-0. The Braves' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-17, 25-7.

Among those leading the charge was Jordan Espinosa, who had six aces and three digs. Those six aces gave her a new career-high. Ava Dada also deserves some recognition as she had her first dig of the season.

Justin-Siena's defeat dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Cardinal Newman, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-8 record this season.

Justin-Siena wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Petaluma on the 18th. As for Cardinal Newman, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Marin Academy on the 17th.
