Volleyball Recap: Glenbard South Comes Up Short

Glenbard South saw some tournament action on Friday. They fell just short of the Mt. Zion Braves by a score of 2-1. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Mt. Zion was led to victory by Addy Rotz and Ty Ball. Rotz had 17 digs and three assists, while Ball had 16 assists and six digs. That's the most digs Ball has posted since back in September.

Glenbard South's defeat dropped their record down to 16-12. As for Mt. Zion, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-11 record this season.

Glenbard South wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Herscher on the 11th. As for Mt. Zion, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Peoria Notre Dame on the 10th.
