Softball Recap: Friday Harbor Drops Highest Score of Season Against Sultan

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Friday Harbor). They were the clear victors by a 25-1 margin over the Sultan Turks on Saturday. The Wolverines have beaten the Turks the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Turks has come to flipping the script.

Friday Harbor's victory bumped their record up to 4-10. As for Sultan, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Friday Harbor will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Concrete at 4:00 p.m. on the 29th. As for Sultan, they will take on Granite Falls at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.33 runs per game on average), something the Turks will no doubt try to take advantage of.
