Ava entered their tilt with Liberty on Thursday with seven consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with eight. They blew past the Eagles 12-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 11-2 two weeks ago.

Hannah Forrest was incredible, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with three runs, one triple, and two RBI. That triple marked the first that she hit this season. Autumn Cudworth was another key player, scoring three runs while going 1-for-3.

Ava always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .633. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Liberty only posted an OBP of .143.

Ava's win was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-2. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.1 runs on average over those games. As for Liberty, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-6.

Looking ahead, Ava will take on Mountain Grove at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Liberty, they will challenge Plato at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
