Volleyball Game Preview: Foothill Cougars vs. Lincoln Mustangs + Official Tickets

The Foothill Cougars will challenge the Lincoln Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Foothill comes in on six and Lincoln on eight.

Foothill is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They came out on top against Shasta by a score of 3-1.

The victory didn't come easy: Shasta scored at least 18 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 23-25, 25-18, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Lincoln narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Archbishop Riordan 3-2.

Lincoln wouldn't go down easily and took Archbishop Riordan into a fifth set where they got it done with a four-point win. The final score came out to 18-25, 25-15, 26-24, 20-25, 15-11.

Lincoln's victory bumped their record up to 35-8. As for Foothill, their win bumped their record up to 19-11.
