Bradford not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 11, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They put the hurt on the Hawthorne Hornets with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Tornadoes in their matchups with the Hornets: they've now won three in a row.

One reason for the win was Bradford's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-15, 25-13.

Bradford got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kingslee Phillips out in front who had 11 assists and five aces. Another player making a difference was Autumn DeKorver, who had five aces and one block.

They weren't the only good server: Bradford was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 22 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least nine aces in three consecutive contests.

Bradford picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 2-3. As for Hawthorne, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Bradford didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Newberry on the 3rd. As for Hawthorne, they have also already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against Fort White on the 4th.
