Softball Recap: Knappa Wins Going Away Against Gaston

Knappa won the last time they faced Gaston and things went their way on Friday too. The Loggers were the clear victors by a 16-1 margin over the Greyhounds. Considering the Loggers have won five matchups by more than nine runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Knappa is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season. As for Gaston, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Knappa will take on Vernonia at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Knappa is facing Vernonia at the right time seeing as Vernonia is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Gaston, they will square off against Jefferson at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
