Soccer Recap: Gridley Finishes Even with Live Oak

On Thursday, the Gridley Bulldogs and the Live Oak Lions finished up their matchup with a 1-1 draw.

Gridley's goal came courtesy of Cesar Alvarez, who's now up to seven this season.

Gridley's draw makes their record 12-2-2 this season. As for Live Oak, they moved theirs to 7-6-3.

Gridley will head out on the road to challenge Oroville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Gridley is facing Oroville at the right time seeing as Oroville is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Live Oak, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Las Plumas at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Live Oak's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
