Volleyball Recap: Lawrence County Gets the Win

While Lawrence County's victory against Columbia wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Cougars skirted past the Wildcats 3-2. The Cougars have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wildcats on Tuesday, too.

The win made it two in a row for Lawrence County and bumps their season record up to 2-1. As for Columbia, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Lawrence County will face off against rival South Pike at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Columbia is set to square off against their familiar foe McComb at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
