Volleyball Recap: Plainfield Comes Up Short

Plainfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Decatur Central Hawks.

Plainfield was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Decatur Central work for it, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 25-19, 25-21.

Plainfield's record is now 0-12. As for Decatur Central, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-8.

Plainfield has already played their next game (against Tri-West Hendricks), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Decatur Central, they will challenge Southport at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
