West Marion extended their postseason success on Monday against Seminary. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Bulldogs a 1-0 shutout. The win was nothing new for the Trojans as they're now sitting on seven straight.

West Marion's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Rylee Gay, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base.

West Marion pushed their record up to 16-16 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Seminary, their loss dropped their record down to 29-8-2.

West Marion will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Bulldogs: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
