Softball Recap: Cardinal Spellman Takes a Loss

Cardinal Spellman and St. Francis Prep pushed the score to 13-7 the last time they played St. Francis Prep, but on Monday defenses reigned supreme. The Pilots fell just short of the Terriers by a score of 2-1. The matchup marked the Pilots' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Cardinal Spellman saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Camila Uribe, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

This is the second loss in a row for Cardinal Spellman and nudges their season record down to 1-6. As for St. Francis Prep, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
