Jake Watkinson turned in yet another pitching appearance with more than nine strikeouts on Tuesday. He struck out 14 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits (and only one walk), good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Oceanside is 4-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 3-5 otherwise.
