Basketball Game Preview: Shannon Red Raiders vs. New Albany Bulldogs

The Shannon Red Raiders and the New Albany Bulldogs will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest, having both just played. Shannon is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.

Shannon saw some tournament action on Monday. They took a 51-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lewisburg.

Meanwhile, New Albany was just a bucket shy of victory on Monday and fell 51-50 to Amory. The matchup marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

New Albany's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Shannon, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.

Shannon was dealt a bruising 80-35 loss at the hands of New Albany in their previous matchup back in November of 2022. Can the Red Raiders avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
