Soccer Recap: Lakeland's Losing Streak Snapped at Three Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Oscar Smith, Lakeland was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Green Run Stallions a 2-0 shutout. The victory was some much needed relief for Lakeland as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Lakeland's win bumped their record up to 4-11-1. As for Green Run, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season.

As of now, neither Lakeland nor Green Run have any future games scheduled.
