St. Francis Borgia not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 24th (when they won 3-0). They put the hurt on the Festus Tigers with a sharp 3-0 win. For the Knights, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 victory the Tigers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

St. Francis Borgia never let Festus on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-13, 25-16.

Despite the loss, Festus saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Lauren Whitehead had eight assists and seven digs. Jordyn Evans also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

St. Francis Borgia is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-7-2 record this season. As for Festus, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-9-2 record this season.

St. Francis Borgia has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Park Hill South on the 10th. As for Festus, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Webster Groves on the 9th.
